Oded Oren's restaurant in Dalston continues to be a hit, he has a new book out and now he's getting ready to open Oren Delicatessen on Broadway Market.
Taking over the space left by the recently closed Isle of Olive, it's being billed as a Tel Avivian delicatessen. In the deli will be their signature hummus, preserved lemons, and house-cured fish as well as freshly baked challahs and pitas. Meals to take away will also be available like chicken kofte with turmeric and seasonal fish with traditional Libyan chraime sauce. Alongside those will be a range of natural and low-intervention wines,
It's something of a continuation of their lockdown offering in shop form, and Oren says "Cooking family-style food is my passion and I’m looking forward to bringing a taste of Tel Aviv to Broadway Market”.
