Jesse Dunford Wood, the chef behind Parlour and Six Portland Road, is getting ready to open his third restaurant, called Harvest.
It'll be his second in Kensal Rise, this time taking over a former curry house (Bawarchi). The focus for Harvest will be on a British-led menu featuring contemporary vegetarian dishes, British coastal fish and direct-from-farm meat. All this is thanks to the local supplier network that the chef has built over the years. Here's a taste of the menu:
- Duck Liver Profiteroles
- Tamworth pork schnitzel
- Courgette flower & semolina chip
- Short Horn Sirloin to share
The restaurant fits in 35, but has a heated covered garden in the back for 35 more. As for the drink, they say that along with the wine, they're aiming to have a strong non-alcohol list too.
They'll be serving coffee and breakfast too, with brunch dishes including The Green Man Breakfast Crumpet (broccoli, courgettes & spinach with green eggs).
