Here's a pop-up for the diary. Lee Tiernan's FKABAM (Formerly Known As Black Axe Mangal) is teaming up with Tabasco for a special pop-up pizzeria.
Taking place at the Islington restaurant, it'll turn into a pizzeria for the night with everything cooked in the huge wood-burning oven. The pizzas for the night include new creations as well as spin-offs of FKABAM favourites. So that's:
- Mapo Margherita - Mapo tofu, coriander, crispy onions, pickled red onion, truffled enoki mushrooms and Tabasco Sriracha Sauce
- F.K.A.B.A.M. Hawaiian – Pulled pig’s head & fennel seed, smoked pork jowl, pineapple, charred pickled chilli, dill pickled cucumber and Tabasco Sweet & Spicy Sauce
- Cocktail Hour – Prawn cocktail pizza with all the trimmings featuring Tabasco Original Red Sauce
Tickets are £18 and you'll get three slices of pizza for that. And if you don't manage to get your hands on a ticket, then the tables outside are being kept back for walk-ins. Everything FKABAM does is excellent, so this definitely sounds like something worth checking out to us.
