So the final piece of the redevelopment at Battersea is now in place - Battersea Power Station itself has now reopened. And that means there are LOTS of new places to eat in the area.
Here's what's opened now:
Control Room B - From the people behind Mr Fogg's this is a 1950's themed bar that actually feels like it's in the Battersea Power Station control room.
Clean Kitchen Club - This is a vegan restaurant and cafe that's been expanding all over London of late. This is their largest yet. Expect their "clean burgers" along with vegan bacon mac ‘n’ cheese
Kova Patisserie - The bakery marries Japanese and French cooking techniques. If you like matcha, this is the place to go with lattes, crepe cakes and more.
Paris Baguette - This is the first appearance of the South Korean bakery on these shores. Expect sarnies, of course, but pay special attention to their cakes, like the coconut and lime eclair and their Paris Brest.
Where the Pancakes Are - The pancake merchants open their latest all-day pancake fest
Searcys Rolls Royce Champagne Car - This sounds like a joke someone came up with and then decided to actually bring it to life. For something a little bit different, this is an actual Rolls Royce made into a Champagne bar (with seating for 20 more nearby)
And here's what's coming soon:
Bread Street Kitchen and Bar - The latest outpost from Gordon Ramsay, a spin-off of the original Bread Street Kitchen.
Le Bab - The kebab slingers come to the station
Bao - This will be the group's seventh location serving up their Taiwanese steamed bao buns (coming in 2023)
Arcade Food Hall - Following the success of their New Oxford Street spot, this will be the second Arcade in London, featuring a selection of new food spaces (coming in 2023)
So yes - there's an awful lot to the new-look Power Station. And there's a lot more around the station, including a Roti King, Tonkotsu and more. We'll keep you up to speed on any new openings over the coming months.
