Here at Hot Dinners, we're always up for a good lobster roll and it sounds as though Mayfair should have a new place serving up just that before the end of the year.
Saltie Girl is a popular Boston restaurant that's taking over what used to be Prezzo on North Audley Street, next to The Mayfair Chippy.
For their London opening they've brought in Richard Turner (Hawksmoor) to consult on the menu, and he'll be bringing in special dishes for the London menu alongside options like
- Clam chowder
- New England lobster roll
- Fried lobster and waffles
They also go big on cocktails and you can expect to see a list that includes their signature Pineapple, made with tequila, cinnamon and lemon. Plus, there's a weekend brunch with dishes like Eggs & Eggs - scrambled eggs with caviar.
Design-wise they'll be across two floors, with a lot of counter dining planned, as they have in Boston, along with three private dining rooms.
