The Drop wine bar heads west to Kensington

The Drop wine bar heads west to Kensington

They already have wine bars on Drury Lane and in Clapham and now Drop Wine bar has just opened another - this time in Kensington.

The Drop (also a wine delivery app) comes from Ian Campbell and Will Palmer, who also happen to be the pair behind The Ten Cases and Parsons in Covent Garden. The Drops are all run independently, however, and this West London outpost is owned and operated by "wine maestro" Dominic Condon.

For the West London Drop, the basic idea is the same as the others - combining a wine bar and a shop. So that means there will be about 200 wines on offer, with wines by the glass changing regularly. Alongside those, will be small plates including cheeses, charcuterie, savouries and salads (they'll change regularly too).

We're very much in favour of new wine bars opening in London and it sounds like this should be well worth checking out if you're in the area.
