Japanese restaurant Sumi in Notting Hill was already one of the best in the area - but now the restaurant has just had a huge overhaul, making it bigger than ever. Not only has it had a full makeover, but it's also expanded next door and almost doubled in size at the same time.
On Instagram they showed just what they've managed to pull off:
That's quite the impressive piece of work. The restaurant from Endo Kazutoshi, the man behind the Michelin-starred Endo at Rotunda, has also added a few new dishes to the menu in the process. There's Seafood Gohan, featuring scallops, octopus, tiger prawns, clams and trout roe alongside Kombu-aged ribeye with brown butter ponzu, kizami wasabi and yuzu salt (below). All that and their truly excellent sushi.
So if you haven't had the chance to try it out yet. we'd say now is definitely the time to visit.
