This is going to be the hottest of hot tickets.
Asma Khan's Darjeeling Express is moving to a new location having closed in Covent Garden last month. But, while we wait for that, she's just announced that the restaurant will be popping up at a pub in Kensington between now and November.
In a video posted on Instagram, Khan said that Darjeeling Express would pop up for at least two months at The Pembroke on the Old Brompton Road "a pop up in a pub, I know, history repeats itself". That's a reference, in case you didn't catch it, to the fact that Darjeeling Express first started life as a pop-up at the Sun and 13 Cantons in Soho before it went globally famous via the Netflix show Chef's Table.
"It's only 30-something covers," she said, adding that it wouldn't be open every day either, "so you really need to book".
So if you've been trying to get a table at one of London's most popular restaurants - now's the time.
