You may have seen the news about Welsh restaurant Ynyshir heading up the National Restaurant Awards 2022 list and thought, 'I'd love to go, if only it wasn't SO far away'. Well, the good news is that the restaurant is coming to London for one night only, if you're lucky enough to get tickets.
It's part of a summer supper club series at FIEND on Portobello Road where owner Chris Denney has managed to entice quite the roster of chefs down to London. Among them will be Ynyshir's head chef Gareth Ward who's here on 6 August.
Denney and Ward's collaborative menu will be an eight course, meat-focused menu. It'll cost £120 a head with wine pairings courtesy of FIEND's sommelier Beth Brickenden, who you may have seen recently on Amazon Prime's The Three Drinkers in Ireland.
