London has its fair share of in-store coffee bars, from Carhartt in King's Cross to the most recently-opened Café Leon Dore in Soho. But the latest to launch, in the heart of Mayfair, may be the most exclusive (and pricey) yet.
Ettore’s Espresso Bar is the brand new coffee bar at the Bugatti showroom on Bruton Street. And sure, you can pop in for a normal Flat White at prices that wouldn't make most Londoners blink. But it's their Ettore Shot, named after Bugatti's founder, which is currently causing waves. The carbon fibre espresso will set you back a whopping £50.
Now you may be thinking, what in the world could make a coffee cost that much. Well, this one includes entry to the Bugatti lounge. That's normally an invitation-only space where you can see the cars up close, look at art installations inspired by the car brand and lounge around in their leather and blue tinted carbon fibre Bugatti armchairs.
If you know someone who's a serious petrolhead, that espresso may just be the perfect birthday present.
