Having 12.5 million followers on Instagram isn't enough to get you a table for dinner in London unless you've reserved somewhere. That's what Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar discovered this week when he attempted to charm his way into a Notting Hill restaurant.
In a post on Instagram yesterday KJo, who was out and about with actress Sara Ali Khan, is shown trying to get into a place that, following a bit of sleuthing, we worked out was Notting Hill restaurant Osteria Basilico. When the manager, Gustavo, says there's no table available, Johar namedrops his friend, superstar actress Alia Bhatt, asking whether there wasn't a reservation in her name for four. But the efforts are in vain as the duo are turned away and KFC is where they end up.
