After a popular (and much extended) pop-up at The Sun and 13 Cantons, chef Rishim Sachdeva is bringing back Tendril for another pop-up (with a permanent restaurant to come too).
The new pop-up will be just off Regent Street (most recently where Bindas Eatery was and Stem before that). As before, it will be all about (mostly) vegan dishes using his experience in both London and Indian kitchens.
Classics from his previous pop-up will be returning alongside new dishes on a menu that includes:
- Sticky soy beetroot fritter bao, with daikon & sesame scallion
- Crispy celeriac terrine, beetroot, sorrel & aioli
- Blue corn tostada, with smoked beetroot nduja, chilli fennel pickle & tapenade
- Baked brie, truffle mascarpone & honey, served on seeded bread (that'll be one of the non-vegan dishes)
- Panacotta, with berry peppercorn soup & fennel shortbread
Expect the menu to change throughout the pop-up and there will also be a "Tendril Discovery" set menu option if you want to be led by the chef. if you didn't get a chance to try it at the previous pop-up, this is a great opportunity to check Rishim's cooking out in advance of the new restaurant.
