The people behind Dirty Bones have something very different planned for their next opening. They're about to open a hip hop speakeasy in Shoreditch called Roxanne (which happens to be just around the corner from the Shoreditch Dirty Bones).
Named after The Roxanne Wars (a hip-hop rivalry in the 90s) the bar is specifically themed around female hip-hop artists, so you'll see.hear a fair bit of Salt ‘N’ Pepa, MC Lyte and Lil Kim but they'll also be showcasing local and upcoming talent too.
For the drinks, the list will include the Cosmic High Ball (served long - Tanqueray Gin, lime and hibiscus cordial, bergamot essence and dragon fruit powder) or the House Martini (XIX Vodka, Manzanilla sherry, garnished with either grapefruit zest or Manzanilla olives).
As for the food, expect their take on NYC cart-dogs as well as warm pretzels and chips served with signature dips.
