Fancy buying a bit of restaurant history? Due to a reburb at Mayfair restaurant Sketch this Spring, certain items of furniture from the Gallery restaurant's previous incarnation have gone up for auction.
For years designer India Mahdavi's Charlotte chairs, influenced by the Charlotte cake with its sponge fingers, were part of the Gallery's iconic look. Now they could be something you lounge on at home.
Several of the chairs are already up for auction with prices ranging from £500 to £1500 and there are more due to be released later this week.
