In news guaranteed to make a lot of folk in the financial district very happy, Dishoom have announced that Canary Wharf will be the site of their next restaurant opening.
It's been five years since one of London's best-loved restaurant groups opened a new place (that was Kensington back in 2017 if you're wondering). Their Canary Wharf restaurant will be a massive affair in Wood Wharf, joining the likes of Hawksmoor and Emilia's Crafted Pizza in the same area.
Expect a place that'll seat over 350 diners with a double-height restaurant, a standalone bar and - what should be pretty handy for the summer months - a terrace overlooking the water. New dishes are also promised for the Canary Wharf menu.
Those bacon naans are going to make this branch of Dishoom a super popular spot for a business breakfast we reckon.
