Every now and then, we're sent info about something that we immediately want to try but that could go either way - terrible or amazing. The new Hellmann's gravy mayonnaise certainly fits that bill.
They say it "combines the richness of homemade gravy with Hellmann’s famous creamy taste" and is "restaurant-inspired". Leaving aside that there's an immediate question of "but what kind of gravy" because obviously not all gravy is made equal, we still want to give this a go. Honestly, we're not even sure what we would put it on. They suggest a "Sunday roast sarnie" and we'd probably give that a try. Or maybe make chips into a pretend poutine?
One person who might be wondering where the company got the inspiration for such as condiment is Max Halley of Max's Sandwich Shop who has long said: "Every person has one thing they can go to their grave extremely proud of, mine, is definitely, gravy mayonnaise." His response today on Instagram was succinct.
Apparently the Hellmann's gravy mayo will be available in April, so keep an eye out for it. We can't deny it, we're definitely buying some if we see it.
