London restaurants are doing their bit to support those affected by the current invasion of Ukraine with a load of special events, dishes and menus. If you're looking to head to a restaurant that is helping raise funds for the relief effort - we'll have the details here.
Launched by Ukrainian food writer Olia Hercules, Alissa Timoshkina and Clerkenwell Boy #CookForUkraine has teamed up with Unicef’s NEXTGen London team. They've gathered together a large number of top restaurants who are donating money to the cause. Here are a few of the places involved.
RAI in Fitzrovia will be donating 100% of proceeds from a specially created limited edition four-course menu to UNICEF UK from 16 March - 9 April.
Big Mamma Group including Circolo Popolare (Fitzrovia), Gloria (Shoreditch), Ave Mario (Covent Garden) - They've created a new "
Blacklock (Various locations), Black Axe Mangal (Islington), Bubala (Spitalfields), Brigadiers (City) - are all donating £1 from every bill in March.
Angelina (Dalston) and Dai Chi (Soho) - £1, £2 and £5 donation options per bill or person
Dishpatch (Nationwide delivery) - £1 donation from each order.
Yard Sale Pizza (Various locations) - Yard Sale Pizza will be launching a raffle on 4 March that gives entrants the chance to win a black card entitling them to free pizza for a year. All proceeds are being donated to #CookForUkraine.
Hache (Various locations) has a limited-edition Mamushka burger by Olia Hercules, topped with crispy streaky bacon, dill mayo and ginger and turmeric-infused beet kraut. It's £14 and £5 from every order will be donated directed to UNICEF UK’s Ukraine appeal.

In addition to #CookForUkraine, other businesses are getting involved with their own solo efforts including:
Frank's Bar under Maison Francois is holding a St Patrick's Day party on 17 March 2022 where all proceeds will go to the Ukrainian aid effort. Tickets are £30 for unlimited Guiness and Oysters between 5-7pm with the party continuing on after that.
The Cocktail Club bars across London who will be serving cocktails made with Staritsky Levitsky Ukrainian vodka between 18 -20 March. Each cocktail using the Ukrainian vodka will cost £10 with all the proceeds going to the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
