The American fast-food juggernaut is kicking things into a higher gear over the next year. We already have Five Guys all over the place, Popeye's has just launched with big plans for expansion and then there's Wendy's. Already opened in Stratford and Croydon - they now have their sights on a third proper London restaurant (you may have seen them pop up as Deliveroo-only restaurants too).
The next big opening (and maybe the largest yet) is in Camden. It's taken over the very-prime-indeed site of the ex-Royal Bank of Scotland on Camden High Street and will take over two floors of the building.
They're also planning something of a makeover for this branch - with the traditional mascot taking on one of three new looks (see the pic below)
If you're in Camden, you won't have to wait to get your hands on a Baconator or a Dave's Triple - they already have a delivery kitchen in nearby Kentish Town. And expect many more new Wendy's restaurants to open in 2022.
