Fortnum's is getting ready to launch a new restaurant, its first in the main Piccadilly store in six years (the last was the standalone restaurant (but connected to the main store) 45 Jermyn Street). It'll be a pop-up restaurant with a focus on sustainability called Field by Fortnums.
It'll take over the restaurant at the back of the store as a pop-up in the run-up to the new year. Linking into the store's own "Future Matters" programme, iField will be designed to minimise wastefulness, focus on regenerative farming, and celebrate local produce. With that in mind, everything is made from locally sourced products, available in the UK.
The menu will be "plant-led" but hasn't been revealed just yet, so we'll have more details in the run-up to the opening.
