It must be a good sign that the City is bouncing back into action, when you hear about a large new bar and dining room getting ready to open. Nest is part of a host of new openings in the 155 Bishopsgate development at Liverpool Street. This new cocktail bar is joining the likes of Neat Burger, Honi Poke and Black Sheep Coffee.
Chef Max Holba a MasterChef The Professionals quarter finalist is the man behind the menu. We don't have details of exactly what's going to be on there right now, but what we do know is that it'll be an all-day modern European dining affair.
It's going to be a pretty decent sized bar on two floors, complete with a large terrace. The team behind it also own the nearby Juno Rooms on Watling Street as well as places like Paradise at Kensal Green, so they should know what they're about. What you can expect is a decent cocktail list and plenty of craft beers to get the City workers party started.
Talking of parties, surely one of Nest's USPs is going to be the actual nest area they've got for private parties. It'll be upstairs and we're told it's "a unique nest structure perfect for private hire with a bird’s eye view of the whole bar". If you're already thinking about your office Christmas do, then you'll want to move fast to get this booked up.
