It's popped up before, last seen at the Crooked Billet, but now Andi Oliver's Wadadli Kitchen has its own space for a 12-month run in Hackney - and it's added a roadside diner too.
First up is Wadadli Kitchen, That's all about communal dining, primarily on a covered terrace space. There, they'll be focusing on two dishes - the Caribbean spiced Seafood Boil, with shrimps, mussels, crab clusters, smoked sausage, corn, plantain and sweet potato. There's also the vegan Barbecue Ital Oil Down on Buss Up Shot - that's breadfruit, squashes, corn, plantain, sweet potato, gungo peas, barbecue mushroom, barbecue carrots, cooked in a coconut oil down and served on buss up shot (a roti).
Then, downstairs there's Wadadli Roadside. That's either for takeaway or there's also a chance to grab a seat at the bar. There, you'll find Andi's curry goat loaded fries, vegan umami mushroom curry loaded fries, spice-rubbed spit roast chicken and the vegan spit roast roots. Cocktails here include Andi’s Rum Punch - with overproof rum and vanilla liqueur.
They'll also be launching an events space alongside - that'll be coming in September - and their delivery service too.
