Their Dalston agaveria's been a storming success, and now the folks at Hacha are heading south for their next place. They're opening up an even larger bar, this time in Brixton's Market Row.
The two-floored space will have a bar and open kitchen, plus a handy bottle shop if you just want to grab something to enjoy at home. And, they're also giving back to the community, shutting for a day a week for their not-for-profit organisation Equal Measures which will offer training, mentorship and workshops to improve the representation of BAME communities within the hospitality industry.
If you haven't been to the Dalston bar, then this will be your opportunity to hit up their Agave List; a rotating menu of 25 varied Tequilas, Mezcals and lesser-known agave spirits. Plus they'll be serving up their award-winning Mirror Margarita along with a Brixton special - La Bandera which comprises three mini cocktails each using a different agave spirit served in the three colours of the Mexican flag.
Food comes from Hacha's kitchen partners, Maiz Azul, whose Camote Tacos, Chicken Tinga and Cheese Chicharon, all of which sounds like the perfect drinking food.
