They've already opened in Notting Hill and Fitzrovia and now Eggslut continue their eastwards journey with a restaurant in Shoreditch.
If you're unfamiliar with them, let us get you up to speed. They hail from Los Angeles and as you might expect from their name, they're really all about eggs. The main events are the eggy buns in particular, which include the following (all served up in brioche buns):
- Bacon, Egg & Cheese - Applewood smoked bacon, over medium egg, cheddar cheese, chipotle ketchup
- Fairfax - soft scrambled eggs, chives, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, sriracha mayo
- Gaucho - Seared Wagyu tri-tip steak, over medium egg, chimichurri sauce, red onions and dressed rocket
There's also the coddled egg "Slut" alongside truffle and rosemary sea salt potato hash browns (which are exclusive to the UK Eggsluts).
The Shoreditch spot will be a small space, and there will be some counter dining too - a staple of the Eggsluts. So if you fancy an eggy bun in Shoreditch, this should be on your radar.
