As any long-time readers of Hot Dinners will know, we are rather partial to a good vodka martini. So it's fair to say that when we heard that a charity martini kit involving the World's Best Bar, The Connaught Bar, was launching we were very much interested. Drinking (sensibly of course) and raising money for a good cause - where do we sign up?
The kit in question is the Grey Goose No.11 martini cocktail kit. In it you'll find what you need to make award-winning mixologists Ago Perrone and Giorgio Bargiani's No 11 cocktail. The drink is served in special Jackson Pollock-inspired glasses which are usually only available at The Connaught Bar itself.
For £100 you'll get two limited edition, bespoke hand-painted coupe glasses, the No.11 martini cocktail featuring Grey Goose plus a special stirrer and bar spoon. Every bit of money raised by the kits will go to the Saatchi Gallery’s Learning Programme, which aims to make contemporary art accessible for all. Plus, if you want to go all out, there's a special experience on offer (at £1000) which involves drinks, canapes and a personal cocktail class at The Connaught.
