Updated 7/7/21 with new opening date
It's strange how things come full circle, isn't it? Way back in 2009 MEATliquor burst on to the London food scene in a truck located in a New Cross pub car park. They didn't open their first actual restaurant until 2011.
Now, ten years later, their latest London opening is going to see them move back into pub life, taking over a pub in Forest Hill
Posting on Instagram, they revealed that they've bought The Dartmouth Arms. "This VERY handsome Victorian Public house will be getting a MEAT makeover and pulling pints from July 1st. It’ll be respectful of the building, area & Pub traditions alike. Expect beer, burgers, Sunday Roasts and fish and chips on Fridays. There's even a massive carpark."
With opening day imminent, they'll be launching their Fish & Chip Fridays towards the end of July with the Sunday Roasts on offer by August.
