While the dawn of the meal kit has been responsible for getting us through more than one lockdown, we have noticed that Friday and Saturdays seem to be the main days for delivery. So it's always handy to hear of one that's delivering something earlier the week - and that's where Lyle's mid-week menu comes in.
Rather than an all-out feast - this is a shorter three-course menu, while still being up to the level you'd expect from Lyle's (as you can see from our recent Test Drive).
The first meal is:
- Grilled, dried mackerel, lovage, preserved gooseberries
- Oxtail Pithivier, swede, radicchio
- Blood orange & olive oil cake
- Brown Butter Cake (we love these)
All that comes in at £70 for two people. So if you're looking for something to break up the week - this sounds worth a look.
