Aparthotel company Locke are clearly worth watching. Their Bermondsey building houses the new Dairy, their Aldgate hotel is currently the new home for plant-forward popup Alter and now they have released details about their imminent opening in Dalston.
Their fourth site is Kingsland Locke and, in addition to the apartments, it houses a microbrewery, gin distillery, coffee shop and a new restaurant from Le Bab. Altogether - that makes Kraft Dalston.
Kraft Dalston sees Elephant & Castle's German Kraft Brewery joining forces with their SE1 neighbours Jim and Tonic Distillery to make beer and gin on-site (and obviously sell it too).
The third part of the Kraft equation is modern kebab restaurant Le Bab who are supplying the food at Kraft Dalston, which they're promising taco sized kebabs to go with the beer. We'll add more details of the menu as we get them.
