Earlier in the summer Truman's Social Club opened in Walthamstow. The huge 35,000 sq ft pub and garden had social distancing built-in right from the start with tables bookable for up to six people, and a rotating line of street traders available.
Three months on and they're now getting ready to open their inside section. The 26,000 sq ft space with space for 700 folk, will house London’s biggest beer hall, an events space, street food traders and daytime cafe. Beer drinkers will have the choice of 20 beers from Truman’s and guest breweries and, to go with that, there'll be a rotating line-up of East London food traders, such as Zero Sushi and Last Night A Vegan Saved My Life.
And, if you prefer to stay alfresco, there's always the large heated outdoor beer tent to drink in.
