The people behind the Breaking Bad bar, ABQ, are getting ready to unveil their next restaurant. Called Jolie, it's in Chelsea Funhouse, on the same site as their pre-lockdown restaurant Journey and this time it's all about France.

Described as "a hybrid between a restaurant and a cocktail lounge" they're taking classic French dishes and creating sharing plates with some extra Europe-wide influence. So there will be sharing portions of smoked Cote du Boeuf with foie gras served on a home-made toasted brioche alongside Honey glazed chorizo and beef shin ragu.

Also on the menu is:

  • Smoked duck breast, Lyonnaise potatoes, mustard sauce
  • Beef tartare, marrowbone, crispy capers, Tabasco ketchup
  • Beef sliders, charcoal bun, Funhouse secret sauce and cheese
  • Moules Mariniere & fries
  • Mock duck salad, datterini tomatoes, walnuts, sherry dressing
  • Wild mushroom croquettes, tarragon mayonnaise
  • White chocolate crème brûlée

They'll even have a bottomless cheese fondue with home-made sourdough if you fancy a particularly cheesy evening.

The drinks are also of a Francophile nature, like the somewhat decadent Versailles - a champagne based cocktail with home-made caramel peach cognac and vanilla gold spray.

The space itself has been redesigned for the post-lockdown era, with room for alfresco eating and there are also the other bars in the same building, Chelsea Black (espresso martini bar) and The Bletchley (immersive WW2 restaurant) that you can head to before or after dinner.
