India's best-known TV chef has just opened the first of his restaurants here in the UK. Sanjeev Kapoor has his own TV channel in India, has published over 200 cookery books and has a slew of restaurants. It's not an understatement to say he's BIG business.
And it's his Yellow Chilli restaurant group that he's chosen to launch in Wembley. Kapoor put the menu together for the Yellow Chilli from his extensive travels across India, so there are dishes from every region.
You'll find:
- Trio of Broccoli with cream, saffron and mustard sauces
- Banana Leaf Salmon "Pollichathu"
- Berkshire Lamb ‘Tawa Chaap’ Tandoori Aloo Katllyan
- Hadippa Paneer Tikka
The restaurant's been doing delivery since June during lockdown, but is now open for dining in at the Wembley Central Shopping Centre.
