Anna Haugh will be reopening the Irish-influenced Myrtle restaurant in Chelsea (read our recent Test Drive here) but that's not all she's planning. She's also launching Anna's Bistro, a new takeaway, delivery and picnic service inspired by her time spent in Paris
Planned for Anna's Bistro menu are:
- Chicken liver pâté and pickles
- Beef bourguignon with wild mushrooms, lardons and red wine
- The Paris Burger, made with beef fillet medallions, crispy shallots and her signature sauce
- Roasted fish of the day served with Provencal sauce and open-flame roast stuffed bell pepper with couscous, goats’ cheese and espelette pepper.
All of this is cooked in the Myrtle kitchens, and delivered with a Gingham tablecloth for laying out at home, or in the park. They'll also deliver picnic hampers straight to the neighbouring parks, with pâté and crostini, smoked salmon and lemon, mini sausage rolls and more all available.
And, of course, Myrtle itself is returning. The restaurant will be back on 18 July with the necessary social distancing measures in place.
