26/5/20 - Updated with new opening dates
We're writing more and more about restaurants that are slowly reopening after the initial pandemic shutdown and the latest to join them are burger merchants MEATliquor. So if you've been craving a Dead Hippie - the wait is over.
It's a slow start to kick things off, starting with the East Dulwich site open at the moment, as announced on their Instagram feed:
As they mention above, it's a reduced menu to start with, and it's mainly all about their burgers. So there are bacon cheeseburgers, Dead Hippies, Dirty Chicken Cheeseburgers, Halloumi Mushroom burgers, buffalo wings, hash browns and deep-fried mac n cheese. And there are hard shakes, cocktails and more booze to go with those.
Next up to open was Northcote Road. But that's not all - more MEATliquor openings are round the corner, with Islington and Covent Garden next (and Brighton if you've escaped to the coast).
