What: Yolk Breaker
In a nutshell: Eggy buns return to Camden
Summing it all up: Joining the other traders at new eco-space Buck Street Market on Camden High Street is Yolk Breaker, serving up all manner of eggy delights in a bun.
The low-down
After a short hiatus, Yolk Breaker, the egg-centric street food vendor, is returning to the capital’s food scene with a new location in Buck Street Market, the new eco-conscious spot that's slowly revealing its traders, off Camden High Street.
The stall's the brainchild of a group of friends who were inspired to open in London after seeing the popularity of egg buns on American's west coast. Having built a loyal audience at their first site in Camden's Stable Market, Yolk Breaker will be hoping that their gorgeous looking eggy buns will lure back fans to their new site.
The menu will feature old favourites, like the signature Yolk Breaker bun with scrambled eggs, caramelised onions and Red Leicester cheese and the YB Cheeseburger, an egg-topped aged Aberdeen Angus beef burger, along with the Avo Mash bun. All are made using Rich Yolk eggs from St Ewe Eggs - a free-range family farm in Cornwall.
