Selfridges are selling luxury Ginsters with wagyu and truffle oil

luxury ginsters at selfridges

What do you mean, you didn't know it was Cornish Pasty Week? Well, at least you can make up for not having in your diary by heading down to Selfridges. Why? Because that's where Ginsters are launching an exclusive luxury range this week.

The posho pasties, which cost £4.99 each, come with three special fillings for the Oxford Street store. Each one has been devised by Michelin-starred chef Chris Eden from Gidleigh Park – the first chef born and raised in Cornwall to earn a Michelin star.

Choose from:

  • Wagyu Beef & Truffle Oil Pasty - featuring Cornish Wagyu beef and filled with heritage purple potatoes, leeks, swede and truffle oil.
  • Flame Grilled Chicken, Coconut & Lemon Pasty - made with chicken with coconut and sweet piquillo peppers along with Hogs Bottom Devon Sweet Chilli jam.
  • Roasted Cauliflower & West Country Mature Cheddar Pasty - saffron-infused pasty filled with roasted cauliflower, mature cheddar, butternut squash, sweet potato, swede and toasted pine nuts and seasoned with sumac and chia seeds.

They're only available this week, so you'll have to move sharpish if you want to try them.
