In March, we reach the end of Shaun Presland's four-month run of Pacific at 10 Heddon Street (read more about that here) and we'll be looking out for a permanent restaurant from him soon.
But that means there's another restaurant taking his place - and this time it's the turn of Fallow. They're Jack Croft and Will Murray, who met while they were both working at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and they're very much followers of a "nose to tail" and "root to stem" cooking approach with a big focus on no/low waste.
They're just finishing up a residency at Crispin in Spitalfields before they move into Mayfair and that gives us an idea of what to expect. On the menu is:
- Pullet egg, Jerusalem artichoke, shiitake dressing
- Salmon belly, monks beard, horseradish
- Carrot masala, bhel puri, chard
- Cow rump, white onion, beetroot
- Coffee ganache, pistachio crumble, coconut
- Yorkshire rhubarb, white chocolate granola, yoghurt
There you can either order dishes individually or get them all for a set menu price - and we're assuming that will carry over to Heddon Street.
