What: Cocotte
In a nutshell: Rotisserie chicken heads to Parson's Green
Summing it all up: After launching in Notting Hill and Hoxton, the next outpost for French rotisserie restaurant Cocotte is Parson's Green. Expect the slow-cooked rotisserie chicken to be the centre of the menu - plus a lot of salads too.
The low-down
Cocotte Rotisserie already has outposts in Notting Hill and Hoxton - and now they're on the way to Parson's Green.
The main event is their rotisserie chicken, marinated in herbs and spices for 24 hours before being cooked low and slow on the rotisserie spit and available as whole, halved or quartered. They come with sauces that include garlic mayo, tarragon mustard, Cocotte’s gravy, truffle mayo and more.
But that's not all to the menu - there are also:
- Foie gras & Mushroom Croquettes
- Spinach & Goat Cheese Croquettes
- Halloumi Sticks - Served on Pesto Garnished with Chilli Pickle & Mixed Seeds
- Chicken Soup - 8 hour Broth, Grandmothers recipe
On top of that, there are sharing cheese and charcuterie boards and a large range of salads that includes Aubergine’s Caviar (Pureed aubergine, garlic, onion, peanuts, garnished with pomegranate, mixed seeds, coriander & a chilli dressing) and Roasted Corn & Tomato (Roasted Corn, tomato, onion mix on a leafy salad, with fresh coriander, & cashew and tarragon dressing).
As for drinks, alongside cocktails, wines and spritzers, they have their Sassy Cider and Portobello Pilsner. And if you're local, they'll be doing takeaway and delivery too.
