You may remember that Flat Iron opened up a restaurant with a big focus on wines by the magnum and serving up bavette steaks only last year (in a team-up with Winemakers). Well, things have changed a little and the restaurant is about to re-open as a standard permanent Flat Iron this week (Called Flat Iron Liverpool Street, even though it's not quite next door to the station).
So that means that the menu will go back to the standard Flat Iron offering of, yes, flat iron steaks, with regular specials along the way. There'll be steak and salad for £12, spinach, aubergines and their dripping chips on the side. And we wouldn't be surprised to see that bavette make its way back as a special from time to time.
