If you're full of good intentions over the food you're going to put in your body in 2020, then new King's Cross residency Palm Greens is looking for your business. Having roamed around the markets of East London since summer and with a residency at Netil House, this plant-based breakfast and lunch spot is now landing in King's Cross.

They'll be taking over a space on King's Cross Square for three months, making them a super handy spot for commuters and visitors to grab one of their breakfast or lunch bowls.

Morning menus include dishes like overnight oats or a cocoa granola bowl with banana and oat milk. Things get a little more intricate at lunchtime with choices like:

  • Mexican Tostada salad with black beans, quinoa, roast squash, shredded cabbage, organic leaves, pickled onion and chipotle crema, topped with a roast cauliflower tostada and toasted seed guajillo oil
  • Miso Mushroom salad with black lentils, roast portobello mushrooms, red onion, shredded beetroot, kale, mesclun miso maple vinaigrette, roasted hazelnut and a dollop of tahini
  • Kale Caesar salad with organic cavolo nero and baby gem, quinoa, butter beans, kohlrabi, sourdough croutons, crispy capers, nutritional yeast, a creamy cashew caesar dressing and roast almonds.

You'll find it in that curved building at the front of the King's Cross forecourt as you exit from the tube.
