Sibling duo Victoria and Grace Sheppard are behind new cafe/events space Queens of Mayfair. They'll be combining their experience in hospitality and interior design respectively for their artisan coffee shop. Victoria was recently running the marketing for UMU & The Greenhouse while Grace project manages interior design projects for high net worth clients at luxury property company Chartwell.

Queens will be open from breakfast through to after-work drinks and then in the evenings will be a private dining and events space. First thing in the morning will see dishes like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, local patisserie and homemade pancakes on the menu. At lunch that switches up to salads like miso salmon with Asian vegetables along with soups and sandwiches. There'll also be a grab and go section if you don't want to sit in.

Pastry and bread sounds strong too, with Hedone supplying

In the evening Queens will serve Mayfair folk botanical cocktails, English wine and Champagne along with gourmet sausage rolls and sharing platters.

Coffee nerds will definitely want to try the drinks here which are being supplied by Difference Coffee who only work with Michelin Star restaurants and private members clubs. It uses only one per-cent of the world’s coffee produce in its pursuit of the best terroir led cup of coffee.
