The World’s 50 Best Bars 2019 are revealed - Dante NYC claims top spot

The World's 50 Best Bars 2019 were revealed last night with New York’s Dante claiming the top spot. The top-ranked New York Bar which has seen multiple residencies in London over the past few years placed above London’s top bars The Connaught and The American Bar at the Savoy.

Also in the top 10 were more of our favourite international drinking spots, now familiar names due to regular popups and takeovers – The Clumsies, Attaboy and The Old Man in Hong Kong.

This year’s awards were something of a shake-up for the capital but we still have 10 bars in the list. It's good news though for The Connaught Bar which did move up to grab the number two space. That said we were delighted to see both hotel bars and neighbourhood drinking spots recognised including Coupette, Three Sheets and the newly opened Lyaness.
