Red Hand in Dalston has some compelling cheese toasties you'll want to try

red hand cheese toasties dalston london

Here at Hot Dinners, we're particularly partial to a good cheese toastie, so news of a whole bunch of them hitting a menu in East London certainly got our attention.

Red Hand opened earlier this year on Stoke Newington High Street - the bar serves craft beer and cocktails on tap, focuses on natural wines and small batch spirits.

In the kitchen is chef Rebecca Lever from I Will Kill Again and she's the one responsible for their seasonal toastie menu - perfect drinking food.

New dishes include

  • Morbier Ash - Morbier Ash cheese, spicy black beans, lime and coriander, served with pickled jalapeños
  • Salami & Blue - Bleu D’Auvergne, Finnochiona salami, pickled fennel & rocket, with black cherry sauce
  • The Schnitz - vegan cheddar, tofu schnitzel, smoky vegan mayo, cox apple and lemon balm, served with pickled caper berries.

All of their toasties are made using white sourdough and come with crisps and we'd like one now, thank you very much.
