Action Against Hunger, the charity with a mission to end child hunger, has a long relationship with the UK restaurant scene, with many a successful campaign and fundraiser event over the years. And this year, they are kicking off their annual Love Food Give Food campaign with a brand new one-off festival at Flat Iron Square on 11th September.
Called Streatfest, the line up of chefs will include Nieves Barragán Mohacho (Sabor, London Chef of the year 2018), Tom Anglesea (The Laughing Heart, Great British Menu winner), Chase Lovecky (Two Lights), Robin Gill (The Dairy, Sorella and Darby’s), Nud Dudhia (Breddos Tacos) and Karan Gokani (Hoppers). Peter Gordon (Crosstown Doughnuts) and Jacob Kenedy (Gelupo) have also created a one-off dessert collaboration just for the night.
Each chef will be producing a street food-style dish and there’ll also be entertainment from Pandora Christie (Heart FM) and an auction of exclusive foodie prizes hosted by Tom Best of Christie's.
Tickets come in two price brackets: £35 tickets will include three dishes of your choice, plus a drink and snacks, while the £65 tickets will include six dishes plus three drinks and snacks. Additional dishes can then be purchased at £5 each and, of course, all funds raised will go to Action Against Hunger.
