Natoora Counter launches at its new Notting Hill Store

natoora2

Even if you’ve never consciously bought anything from Natoora, chances are you’ve eaten some of its produce – the company supplies 800 top chefs in London and 400 more in New York and Paris. Known for their exceptionally high quality, seasonal fruit and vegetables sourced directly from growers as well as its own farms, Natoora already has four stores in London, and it's just added a fifth

Located on Elgin Crescent in Notting Hill, the store will not only have the usual grocery store where you can purchase fruit, veg and deli items, but it will also feature an in-store cafe, the Natoora Counter. Open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, each dish on the menu will be fully traceable, owing to the fact that Natoora has its own supply chain and knows all of its producers. The menu will, of course, be super seasonal but to give a flavour of what to expect, current dishes on the menu include:

  • Raffaele’s tomatoes, chickpeas, turmeric houmous
  • Crocadon beets, piattone, farro, ricotta
  • Grilled trombetta courgette, Suffolk quinoa, labneh
  • Manzo di pozza, creamed tropea onion, pickle

All the ingredients used in the dishes are available to buy in the shop, displayed on shelves with full details on where it was grown and who the producer is. Sticking to their sustainable ethos, everything is available loose rather than packaged and all takeaway packaging is compostable.
