The spot under Hungerford Bridge is a prime one for London foodies to keep an eye on. After all, this is where both Pitt Cue and Bleecker have plied their trade in the early days. Now there's a new trader in town. Truffle have opened a summer long residency under the bridge in a shipping container. They'll be serving up a range of burgers (meat and veggie) all with their hit of truffle along with steak and a range of sides.
On the South Bank Menu are:
- Beef & smoked bacon burger - with fig jam, crispy onion, raclette cheese and truffle mayo
- Aged beef burger - smoked cheese, caramelised onion puree, truffle garlic sauce and pickles
- Beyond Meat Burger with fig jam, smoked cheese, crispy onion and truffle mayo
- 5oz beef steak with truffle and parmesan chips
And they'll also be serving up two beers from Hackney Brewery to go alongside all this.
