Summing it all up: SOW is kicking off a new bowl food brand in Soho - and they've a menu from an award-winning chef.
The low-down
Yes, it seems that bowl-food is here to stay - as a new bowl-food brand is about to hit London. This time it's called SOW and a former National Chef of the year winner is looking after the food.
That chef, Frederick Forster, has previously worked alongside Raymond Blanc and Michel Roux Jr and his menu will be "featuring globally-inspired, seasonal bowl food," That means dishes like :
- Vegan buckwheat noodles, shiitake mushrooms, sesame and nori broth
- Spiced chicken, savoury rice, pickled cabbage
- For breakfast: organic egg, chorizo beans, broken avocado
Inside, there will be seating for 22 as well as a grab and go option. And they aren't stopping with this restaurant - more are planned...

Soft launch offer: 50% off food from 11-16 June. First through the doors at 12pm noon on the official opening day, 17 June will get a choice of main course bowls for free.
