In a nutshell: Soho House bring Cecconi's to Shoreditch
Summing it all up: Expect lobster spaghetti and more as Soho House open their Redchurch Townhouse hotel complete with Cecconi's Shoreditch restaurant on the ground floor, just a street away from Shoreditch House.
The low-down
Soho House's rollout of the Cecconi's brand continues. Their latest opening will be right next door to Shoreditch House where they're opening the Redchurch Townhouse - a boutique hotel/restaurant in the style of Dean Street Townhouse and Kettner's Townhouse.
With 37 bedrooms upstairs, there'll be a Cecconi’s restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Described as a more relaxed version of the original Cecconi's in Mayfair there'll be a selection of cicchetti and pastas - including their famous lobster spaghetti - as well as veal milanese and a selection of pizzas too.
Design-wise, with a nod to the area, look out for the hotel's 40 under 40 art collection - a selection of works sourced from 40 artists, all under 40, most living in east London.
