What: Night Tales Bohemia Place
In a nutshell: Semi-outdoor drinking, dining and clubbing in Hackney
Summing it all up: Night Tales have been appearing in residencies all over London - but this is their first permanent place. They're taking over some of the arches in Hackney Central and are putting in a Japanese garden for good measure.
The low-down
They've been popping up all over London - but now Night Tales are looking to settle down in a permanent home in Hackney - all part of the new Hackney Central arches development.
And it's quite the endeavour. They'll have 300-capacity nightclub, a Japanese Garden alfresco drinking and dining area, outdoor Asahi Super Dry Bar and an Agave Cocktail Bar specialising in Mezcal.
Here's what to expect:
- Fat Baby - new at Night Tales, this is based on a Japanese izakaya with Yakitori, grilled seafood, gyoza, salads, rice dishes and katsu sandos on the menu. Head chef Greg Round has worked at both Pitt Cue and Umu.
- Sons of Slice: They're serving up New York style pizza, including First Base (Fior di latte Mozzarella, House Tomato Sauce & Basil and the Big Red) as well as a Neapolitan Salami & Nduja pizza
- The Japanese Garden Bar - a whole 4000 square ft of it. It's both an extension of the club and where you'll find the food too. Expect Japanese inspired High Ball cocktails, sake, Asahi Super Dry, spritz bowls and more.
- The Agave Bar - this is inside the club and focuses on mezcals & tequilas with rotating special cocktails - which includes the Paloma Place (Tequila, Amaro Montenegro, Grapefruit sherbet, Prosecco & Soda top)
