Summing it all up: Massively popular local pizzeria Yard Sale continue their expansion with a fourth base in Leytonstone.
The low-down
London pizzeria Yard Sale has come a long way since 2014, when they relocated operations from their back garden to their first outpost in Lower Clapton Road. Since then, there have been everything from mash-ups to musical boxes and, of course, the opening of further restaurants in Finsbury Park and Walthamstow. Now they’re forging ahead yet again with another new base, this time in Leytonstone.
Food at Yard Sale’s fourth restaurant will be much the same as their others - so that’s cheesy, topping-laden, double fermented dough pizza, that’s also affordable enough to have netted them first place in the OFM’s Best Cheap Eats awards.
The pizzas include:
- ‘Holy Pepperoni’ with Cobble Lane pepperoni, Napoli piccante, and crumbled Nduja sausage
- ‘TSB’ with tenderstem broccoli, parmesan, pine nuts, garlic and olive oil
- ‘Harlamb shake’ with Harissa lamb, guindilla chillies, goats cheese & red onion with fresh mint yoghurt dressing
- ‘Salsicca E Friareilli’ with Italian wild broccoli marinated in garlic and chilli oil, fennel sausage, chilli flakes & mozzarella
Plus dips, salads, and sides, including cheesy Marmite garlic bread, and all available for local delivery too.
We’ve also been told you can expect more of their mad, culinary crossovers (which Yard Sale have dubbed their ‘Love Ins’), though we’re yet to see if one can reach such dizzying heights as the cheeseburger pizza creation they dreamed up with Patty & Bun.
