Veggies, vegans, flexitarians or even meat eaters who love veg - you're all welcome at a new two-day festival celebrating edible plants. Hitting Camden this summer, Plant Life is bringing together some powerhouse chefs who'll be talking about the joys of a plant-based diet. The good news is that it's not just talk - there'll be workshops and cooking as well.
The festival was conceived of by Franco Fubini founder of Natoora along with chef and restaurateur Richard H Turner and festival organiser Clare Isaacs. Together, they've put together an impressive shortlist of guests (with more to come). So the line-up already includes NOMA Mexico's project manager, Santiago Lastra, Damian Clisby of Petersham Nurseries, Chantelle Nicholson of Tredwells, Selin Kiazim of Oklava, Josh Eggleton and Rob Howell of Root in Bristol and Athanasios Kargatzidis from Baron in Beirut.
Over the weekend, Camden's Roundhouse will be transformed into a foodie's paradise. There'll be counter-style restaurants, long table feasts, producer markets along with bars, wine and cocktail tasting and live music too. Sign us up.
