Bubble waffles and cocktails
The bubble waffle has been one of those dessert trends that has become hugely popular in London over the past year. Best described as if bubblewrap were edible but more easily as "look at the picture above". Danhong Xie, who hails from Hong Kong, has brought us the latest bubble waffle spot, Bufle.
At Bufle, the wrap will be folded into a cone, filled with ice cream and piled with toppings. No calories there, then.
Their list includes:
- Oreo Delight: a waffle filled with Cookies & Cream gelato and topped with Oreo chocolate cookies
- Funky Cereal Club: a waffle filled with Bubble Gum flavoured gelato, and topped with rainbow cereal and fresh strawberrie
- Mad About Matcha: a matcha-infused waffle paired with matcha ice cream and topped with matcha biscuit
You can, of course, create your own, and they'll be pairing those with cocktails, hard shakes and more. So if you're looking for a new dessert spot in Soho, this could be worth searching out.
